Choosing subjects

Hi it's me, Olivia.

Im really sorry that I haven't done a blog in two weeks! I don't have an excuse to be honest. I just don't know what to write.

I think that this is one of the most difficult things in life to choose. I am choosing my subject for year 10 and 11. Its really hard but we all have to do it!

We have assembles all the time about it and every lesson is about it because its really important.
One of the question they will ask you is what you want to be when your older, I can't answer that right now because I can't physically vision my self as something. I need to make my decision soon but this blog isn't all about me....

Don't choose your options because your friends are doing it - You might hate the lesson and have to take that GCSEs,

You like that teacher- you might not get that teacher,

Your parents told you to- This one is hard they might tell you to do lessons which you don't like,
they are your options not your parents!

Again I'm sorry for not doing blogs for 2 weeks, I try to do them every Thursday.

See you then,
Bye x

Makeup Tips

Hey again its Jess,

First of all we didn't post last week because we had to go to meetings after school and we were quite busy so sorry about that.

Makeup Tips

Today's post is about makeup tips, I'm going to share some tips I use on a regular bases. Also because I'm quite young I don't apply load of makeup, but I do know other tips but I don't always use that product regularly

  1. Concealer =  Apply concealer on top of foundation, to cover up anything it missed
  2. Foundation = Apply with your fingers if you want a sheer coverage, or with a brush if you want more of a polished, medium to full coverage
  3. Powder = Apply powder where you are shiniest first, which is usually your T-zone and a light dusting everywhere else
  4. Eyebrows = Always apply your brow pencil or powder to the upper portion of the eyebrow to lift your face up
Lipstick = make sure your lipstick is not too defined at your cupid's bow, and that it goes all the way out to the inner corners of your mouth. Be sure to press down hard as you apply.
  5. Eye shadow = Always start with a base shadow without any shimmer that matches the lightest skin tone on your face and apply all over your lid up to the brow. You should use this base shadow to make sure the darker shadows used on your lid up to the crease are properly blended.
These are my main tips I use but if you have any then comment them down below because I   would love to hear what you do!

Happy New Year!

Happy new year!

If you have made any new years resolutions the comment them down below :)

Hey its Jess,

It a new year and a new start for me, every year I make a new years resolution and never stick to them. So this year I'm going to try and really stick to it.

                    Jess' New Years Resolutions:

  •  Get healthier- I don't mean loose weight (a little will do) but doing more sports and eating healthier choices.
  • Being a better person- I'm going to try and just do the little things to help some one else out every day
  • Be a better friend- I'm not horrible to my friends at all but I want to help them out more if they need it and be there for them more
  • Earn some money- I am now old enough to get a small job(paper rounds, sweeping floor in hair dressers etc.), I don't want to earn loads I just want a little bit more in my purse to go shopping with
  • Grow my hair- I know that's not really the average resolution but I really want my hair to be longer and healthier so I can do more with it
  • Read more- its proven people who read more are more intelligent
That is all my new years resolutions they are not very big so I think I will be able to stick to them for a while hopefully all year :)

Hey its Olivia,
I just want to say happy new year I hope you all had a lovely Christmas!

It a new year and a new start, last year was a hard year for me and I want a fresh start, I also have a few resolutions and they are similar to jess'.

                       Olivia's New year resolutions:

  • Get fit- do more sport, healthier food choice etc.
  • Go out more- I want to get up and go out rather stay in bed on my laptop all day
  • Become more confident and take more chances when they are offered
  • Get more sleep- I usually stay up until about 3am and wake up about 6:30am for school, so I want to feel less tired
  • Start saving- I want to start saving up for something big and not waste my money on things I don't need
  • Do more art- I take art at school and want to get better at it so I can raise my grade
  • Remember to always take my tablets- So I can get better
  • Bring a drink to school - I am alway getting dehydrated
That is all of my resolutions, there are a few more that are not really worth sharing with you.

Thats all from us until Jess' post Tuesday!

See you later x

How to solve friendship issues

Hey it’s Jess again, sorry this post is late it’s because I am away this week and the Wi-Fi isn’t very     good but now I have some I can write, this blog is about how to solve friendship problems. I’m going  to list some common problems and answer them in a much detail as I can.

 1.      My best friends keeps leaving me for other people and won’t tell me she just leaves.
 -         Well first of all you have to realise she can have other friends than just you so make sure you          don’t take her away from them
  -         Talk to her about it face to face and just ask her if she can tell you before she goes, so your not  left  alone waiting.
  -         Ask if you can come, she might say no but just say ok because there might be a certain reason she doesn’t want you to.
   -        Don’t get into a argument about it because its really silly, this happened to a group of my friends  at school and they all got into a massive argument over nothing

 2.    My friend tells me she is busy but then I find out she made plans with others
  -        Make sure she is aware of what she doing
  -        Let her know she is disappointing you
  -        Ask her to be more reliable
 -        If this persist then you may need to dilute the friendship by seeing her less frequently and/or relying on more reliable friends

 3.    You cant stand your friends boyfriend
 -       It’s her partner not yours and you don’t have to like him
 -       If you don’t like her choice try and find ways to spend time with each other without him
 -       Tell her how you feel but don’t try and talk her out of the way she feels
 -       However if you think her choice is self-destructive, let her know that and try to be there for her

 4.    You and your friend where attached at the hip and now you have nothing to say to each other
 -       Your lives may have become so divergent that your friendship isn’t what it once was
 -       Friendships have there ups and downs and some of them last forever see if you can figure it out by talking about it
 -       If it’s a matter of you, her or both of you have changed then try and keep a more distant connection without cutting of the friendship completely.

 5.    You feel like your being left out from a group of others
  -       This can feel quite painful, but try and talk to one or more of the group members to see if you can maintain a good relationship with her (or them) away from the group

Hope this is helpful and I will speak to you this sunday hopefully

Email us some question so we can answer them in future post

Bullying

Hey its me Olivia,

Today I'm going to answer the most asked question about bullying;

-What is bullying?

Bullying is when somebody keep repeatedly call you names or hits you (maybe both), Also they are try to harm or scare another person. People usually pick on people who are weaker and unpopular because they will find it easier to bully. It usually occurs in High school or by Internet (Cyberbullying) .

- I'm getting bullied at school and they won't stop what should I do?
Tell you teacher or parents and they will try to stop them.

Don't run away from it or ignore it because then they will carry on and won't stop until
you do something about.

Stay strong!

 - Why does he/she bully me and nobody else?

He/She probably think that you are week and vulnerable and find it easier to pick on you

Maybe he like you ;)
